#notashamed;

There is too much stigma and prejudgment. These behaviors should be and should have always been antiquated. This is where we're welcome to come together and be proud of ourselves, every piece of ourselves. Accept your flaws and proclaim you are #notashamed.

Anyone is welcome to add their story, check out the blog at #notashamed; (vocal.media)

#notashamed; member initiative

The member's featured in the blog have a choice to remain anonymous to viewers or show their face. No judgment or stigma is accepted on the site, and every one is encouraged to tell their story how it is, then finally at the end say "I am #notashamed"

Be proud of you; all of you.

About Me

Kimberlee LaClair

#notashamed; creator

I've found a lot of people keep quiet on the things they're "ashamed" of or judged for. I understand why, I've felt the sting of stigma and judgment for mental illness before, and spent months in denial when I received my diagnosis years ago. It took therapy, new friends, rehabilitated relationships, treatment and even loss to understand I need to love all the pieces of me that make me who I am, even the ones I was scared to admit. I'm reaching my hand and inviting others to join and speak about themselves and finally realize there's no need to be ashamed.
